Treatment for Drug Abuse

Phase SystemÂ
The Phase System: New Beginnings Recovery Center employs a Phase system used to gauge patient progress in his or her own recovery. We understand that adolescent drug rehab is different for every teen. Behaviors and thinking patterns are confronted and hopefully changed for a more healthy way of living without the use of drugs and alcohol. The expected behaviors for each phase are to be used as guidelines for rating a patient’s growth in the program.
How To Advance from Phase to PhasePatient may request a phase change once all requirements and tasks for the current phase are completed. Patients are required to make a written application to the treatment team requesting phase advancement. Feedback is required from the staff and other patients during the Phase Up meeting held weekly on Wednesday. Peer and counselor feedback is received and a decision on the request in made by staff at Thursday staff meeting.
Some patients may not be ready for phase advancement the first time they apply. This is an opportunity to learn and grow. Be willing to listen to the areas that need work. Recovery is an ongoing learning and growing process.
